Food drive to support Fort Plain community – now through Nov. 17

The Fort Plain HS Library Club is collecting non-perishable food items to benefit the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry at the Fort Plain Reformed Church.

Non-perishable food items can be dropped off now through Nov. 17 at any of the following locations:

  • Fort Plain High School Library
  • Harry Hoag Elementary School Library
  • Fort Plain Free Library

All donations are greatly appreciated and will go directly to the food pantry.

What’s needed

Most needed items include:

  • Canned chicken, tuna, vegetables, or fruit
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Tomato sauce
  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly
  • Boxed cereals
  • Instant potatoes
  • Ramen noodles/canned soups
