Technology & Connectivity

Adequate access to a device and high speed internet connection is paramount for learning in a remote environment. Having the capability to connect to technology was identified as a “barrier for learning” in both end of year surveys to parents and faculty. To address this, the district will be in direct communication with families to evaluate the need for devices and/or connectivity prior to the first day of school on Sept. 8. It is our intention to prioritize 1:1 device access for all students. The district will offer training to assist all stakeholders with the use of devices, and will additionally provide resources to help resolve technology issues that may arise. Students will be provided a Chromebook or other suitable device and asked to bring it to and from school daily.
