Toppers on the Run

This program is designed to promote students’ physical wellness, social-emotional growth and build meaningful connections for them in the school and village community.

Through structured running practices, intentional social-emotional learning and service opportunities, students will build confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging.

A race to end the season will be held in June.

Toppers on the Run:

  • Helps build physical fitness levels through bodyweight exercises and warmups.
  • Builds endurance and cardiovascular health with various running/jogging/walking activities.
  • Builds teamwork and interpersonal skills with like-aged peers.
  • Builds a sense of self-worth and value.
  • Helps students connect to community through volunteerism.

Eligible Grade Levels: Elementary/Grades 3  and 6
