Regular Run Bus Driver

Location: Fort Plain Central School District
Salary: $25.06/hour

This is a part time position, including both AM/PM bus runs (approximately 4 hours per day for 10 months). This position includes single health insurance only.

Duties (Illustrative Only):

• Responsibility for driving a school bus, minivan or other school vehicle on an assigned route.
• Responsibility for the safe transfer of school children and maintaining discipline on the bus.
• Bus drivers may be expected to perform minor maintenance tasks on various vehicles. The work is performed under general supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of experience in the operation of automotive equipment.

Special Requirement:

• Possession of Commercial Driver’s License with an “S” endorsement at the time of appointment.
• Drivers must be at least 21 years of age.

Appointment is subject to fingerprint clearance.
