Elementary School Supply Lists for 2018-19

Pre-Kindergarten

  • Backpack
  • Folder
  • Two complete changes of clothes in a labeled Ziploc bag (underwear, socks, pants, shirts)
  • Blanket (please no stuffed animals or pillows for nap)
  • 1 glue bottle

If anyone is interested, we are asking for OPTIONAL donations for the classroom:

  • Kleenex
  • Paper towels
  • Ziploc bags: gallon size
  • Ziploc bags: sandwich size

Kindergarten

You do NOT need scissors, spiral notebooks, loose paper, or a blanket. We will not be napping in Kindergarten

  • Pencil pouch (soft sided with a real zipper)
  • 1 bottle of ELMERS glue
  • 4 glue sticks
  • 1 package EXPO dry erase markers

  • 3 PLASTIC folders with fasteners
  • 1 PLASTIC folder (without fasteners)
  • 2 composition notebooks (with no spirals)
  • Large erasers (not pencil top ones)
  • A box of slide lock gallon baggies
  • A box of slide lock quart baggies

Conover/Paradiso

K-12 Language Concepts Class

  • Backpack
  • Pencil box (preferably hard plastic box)
  • Glue
  • Glue sticks
  • Box of Kleenex
  • Extra clothing in case of accidents (pants, shirt, underwear, socks) in a bag clearly marked with student’s name
  • Sweater or sweatshirt to keep here
  • Sneakers for gym
  • Snack for your child if desired (eg. juice and or crackers, etc.)
  • Milk money if desired
  • Information packet signed (will be sent to family in August)
  • I will supply the plastic go home folders, crayons, and markers

First Grade

Gallup/Karbowski

For your child:

  • Backpack to bring to school each day
  • Sneakers for gym and recess. They will be used every day and may be kept in school
  • Crayon/pencil box
  • 1 box of crayons (box of 24 is recommended)
  • 1 multi-pack of glue sticks
  • 2 folders
  • 1 composition notebook (lined, not spiral, please)
  • Plenty of erasers
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • Please no hand-held pencil sharpeners

For our classroom
(to be shared by all students)

  • 1 package of dry erase markers
  • 2 packages of pencils (Ticonderoga brand works well)
  • At least 1 box of tissues
  • 1 gallon or 1-quart sized zip top bags

Bartholomew

General supplies:

  • Backpack to bring to school each day
  • Sneakers for gym and recess. They will be used every day and may be kept in school

To be labeled and kept in their pencil box:

  • 1 box of crayons (box of 24 is recommended)
  • 5 glue sticks
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • Erasers

Labeled with their name, not on their pencil box:

  • 2 folders
  • 1 package of dry erase markers (at least 4 markers) for class

Community supplies – does not need to be labeled:

  • 2 packages of pencils (Ticonderoga brand works well)
  • 1 wet glue bottle
  • 1 large box of tissues for the classroom to use – or more if you want to send it in. 1st graders use A LOT of tissues!
  • 1 gallon or 1-quart sized zip top bags
  • Please no hand-held pencil sharpeners

In First Grade, we have homework Monday through Thursday. At home, your child will need a pencil every night and some nights they will need crayons. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you!

Second Grade

Please Note: Some school supplies will need to replace throughout the school year. You will need pencils at home to complete daily homework. Occasionally, you may also need crayons and scissors.
