Students of the Month

   Students are nominated for this honor by one or more of their teachers and selected by a vote of a committee of teachers. A plaque which contains a group photo of all students of the month will be hung in the school lobby at the end of the school year. In addition, each student of the month receives two slices of pizza and a 20-ounce fountain drink donated by Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppe.

February students of the month

      Principal Deborah Larrabee has announced February students of the month for grades 7-12. S
      Senior Zachary Horning , son of Matthew Horning and Lori Seeley, was nominated by Linda Cole. Among his activities is wrestling.
      Junior SamPhoto of February students of the monthuel Kirkpatrick, son of Shelley Kirkpatrick and Samuel Kirkpatrick, was nominated by Margaret DiBiase. His activities include basketball,soccer, and Student Council.
       Sophomore Avery Johnson, son of Pauline Boyer and Emil Johnson., was nominated by Phillip Thibodeau. His activities include track and field and cross country.
       Freshman Christopher Kilmartin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kilmartin, was nominated by Michelle Boylan. His activities include Student Council, basketball, and soccer.
       Eighth-grader Lindsay Countryman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Countryman, was nominated by Sara Ackroyd and Susan Summerfield. Among her activities are Students Against Destructive Decisions, Battle of the Books, and band
        Seventh-grader Alexander Bleichner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bleichner, was nominated by Peter DiBiase. His activities include basketball, baseball, soccer and Student Council.

       Senior SPhoto of January students of monthara Klock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Klock, was nominated by Peter DiBiase. Among her activities are Soccer and Student Council and Library Club.
       Junior Jabin Weaver, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Weaver, was nominated by William Ryan. His activities include basketball, baseball, prom committee, and National Honor Society.
       Sophomore Samantha Potter, daughter of Christine Potter and Nelson Potter, was nominated by Jay Jarabek. Her activities include volleyball, softball, 4H, and Winterball Committee.
       Freshman Joseph Burkhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Burkhart, was nominated by Deborah Waner.
        Eighth-grader Zach Florian, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Florian, was nominated by Phillip Thibodeau. Among his activities are Baskeball and baseball.
         Seventh-grader Liza Hudyncia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hudyncia, was nominated by Katherine Sacco. Her activities include volleyball, softball and basketball.

       Junior Michael Countryman, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Countryman, was nominated by Patti Jarabek. His activities include volunteer at Manna House, Mentor Program, OK2XL, and Independent Study Class..
       Sophomore Samuel Hoffman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hoffman, was nominated by Patti Jarabek. His activities include Library Club, coaches aide and camera man.
       Freshman Danyel King, daughter of Tammy King and Matthew Smith, was nominated by Patti Jarabek. Her activities include Class of 2103 secretary, chorus, Harmony, basketball captain, volleyball, and Stuidents Against Destructive Decisions.
      Eighth-grader Summer Grower, daughter of Sherri Rende and Jose Raposo, was nominated by Susan Summerfield. She is involved in SADD.
       Seventh-grader Kyle Kenyon, son of Francine Kenyon, was nominated by Theadore Arndt and Louisa Downes. Kenyon is not in photo.

     Sophomore Tara Resch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Resch, was nominated by Patti Jarabek. Her activities include soccer, basketball, chorus, Harmony, band, and SADD.
      Freshman Barbara Schermerhorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schermerhorn, was nominated by Deborah Waner. Her activities include volleyball, Battle of the Books, Library Club, SADD, chorus, Jr. Honor Society, and School Store.
      Eighth-grader Adam Rohn, son of Lesa Rohn and David Rohn, was nominated by Michelle Boylan.
      Seventh-grader Briannah Florian, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Florian, was nominated by Kathleen DeKalb. She is involved in softball and soccer.

         Junior Nolan Reese, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Reese, was nominated by Lisa Trembley and Patti Jarabek. His activities include golf, bowling, baseball, band, class president, and Students Against Destructive DPhoto of October Students of the monthecisions officer.
         Sophomore Matthew Soto, son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Soto, was nominated by Patti Jarabek. His activities include Canajoharie-Fort Plain Drama Club, Danza Del Fuego Dance Team, CPPA Dance Studio, class vice president, Library Club treasurer, Chorus president, and he is an active member of St. James Catholic Church.
        Freshman Kaitlin Trumbull, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Trumbull, was nominated by Patti Jarabek. Her activities include soccer.
        Eighth-grader David Wilday, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wilday, was nominated by Phillip Thibodeau. He is involved in soccer, band and Boy Scouts.
        Seventh-grader Julian Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Martin, was nominated by Michelle Boylan and Laurie Capece.

       Senior Terence Petty, son of Mrs. And Mrs. James Petty, was nominated by Patti Jarabek. His activities include cross country, track, Student Council, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and NatiPhoto of September students of monthonal Honor Society.
       Junior Chelsea Koch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Koch, was nominated by Lisa Trembley. Her activities include Nelliston Activities Council, Reality Check, prom committee, marching band, Harmony, and graduation band. She also volunteers at the Fort Plain Museum and Parson's Early Headstart.
        Sophomore Shinara Beauregard, daughter of Tina Congdon and Kurt Beauregard, was nominated by Margaret DiBiase. Her school activities include cross country, track, Jr. Honor Society, and Student Council. She also volunteers for the Special Olympics.
        Freshman Jocelyn Arndt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Arndt, was nominated by Melanie Pombrio. She is involved in junior varsity soccer, band, Harmony, and chorus.
         Eighth-grader Kasey Mang, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mang, was nominated by Michelle Boylan. She is involved in volleyball, band, and horseback riding at Sweet Calbet Stables.
          Seventh-grader Beth Mallett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Mallett, was nominated by Louisa Downes and Theodore Arndt. She is involved in band, bowling, Girl Scouts, horseback riding at Sweet Calbet Stables, and Valley Alliance Youth Group.
