School Supplies Needed for Grades 1-6

Kindergarten

Your child will need to bring the following items as soon as possible. Please be sure that ALL items sent in are clearly labeled with your child's name.

  • Crayons (8 or 16 count will do)

  • 1 small plastic crayon box (Rice)

  • Backpack -large enough to hold a 10" x 12" folder

  • Paint shirt (an old shirt can be used to protect your child's clothing while painting-the more that it covers, the better it works.)

  • $3.50 (So that everyone will have the same kind of crayons, we will provide each child with a set of 8 Jumbo Crayola crayons and Crayola Fine Tip Markers at a nominal cost of $3.50. We have done this for the past couple of years and it works extremely well. (If you have already purchased crayons, please keep them at home as your child will need a set at home to use on his/her homework assignments.


1st Grade

Miss Budzik

  • Twenty pencils (#2 and plain: Ticonderoga works the best for my temperamental pencil sharpener)

  • One box of Crayola crayons

  • One bottle of Elmer’s white school glue and 2 glue sticks

  • One crayon/pencil box

  • Erasers ( the small rectangular pink one or the small erasers that go on top of the pencils)

  • Three composition notebooks (no spiral notebooks please)

  • Three plain colored folders

Mrs. Reynolds

  • 1 Spiral or Composition notebook

  • 2 Sturdy pocket folders

  • Pencils and erasers

  • Small pencil sharpener

  • Box of 16 or 24 Crayola or Rose Art crayons (Please do not buy dollar store crayons as they do not work!)

  • 2-3 glue sticks to start (We will need more later in the year.)

  • Student scissors

  • Pencil/crayon box

  • Sneakers for Gym

  • A big old shirt for art

  • Backpack or book bag to carry things in

2nd Grade

General Supplies.

  • 1 Composition Notebook

  • 3 Pocket FoldersCrayon Box

3rd Grade
Please have your child read 15-20 minutes a day. Also please work to memorize all addition and subtraction facts.

General Supplies.

  • 1 – 5 subject notebook – wide ruled

  • 2 – Composition notebooks – wide ruled

  • 1 - 1 inch binder filled with wide ruled paper

  • 5 - pocket folders

  • pencils (continuous supply throughout the year)

  • 2 - glue sticks

  • 12 - count crayons

  • 12 - count colored pencils

  • eraser caps

  • pouch for supplies

  • assignment pad

4th Grade  -Mr. Fureno, Mrs. VanGorder, and Mr. Steventon

To help students transition easier from 3rd grade to 4th grade, and maintain organization, we are asking that their materials for science, social studies, and math be color-coded. They will need the following materials for this upcoming school year.
 
General Supplies. Please do not send in any hand held pencil sharpeners. Thank you!

  • 1 planner

  • 1 plastic take-home folder

  • 2 packs loose-leaf paper (wide ruled)

  • (3) packs of pencils

  • 1 pack of colored pencils

  • 1 pencil bag (no boxes please)

  • 1 package cap erasers

  • 4 boxes of tissues

  •  1 book bag (no wheels)

  • 1 art smock

  • deodorant, clothes, and sneakers for gym

Science: 1 marble composition notebook (blue if possible)
Math:
2 marble composition notebooks (red if possible)
Social Studies:
1 marble composition notebook (green if possible)
Language Arts:
2 marble composition notebook (black and white)

 

5th Grade

  • Pencils with erasers (lots of them)

  • Colored pencils

  • Loose leaf paper - wide ruled (no college ruled)

Language arts:  1 composition notebook (no perforated, tear out pages), 1 - three subject spiral notebook, and  2 pocket folders
Science:  1- one subject spiral notebook (no perforated, tear out pages), 1 pocket folder
Social Studies: 1- one subject spiral notebook, highlighters, and a pocket folder
Math:1 - one subject spiral notebook (no perforated, tear out pages)

ABSOLUTELY NO TRAPPER KEEPERS!!!

6th Grade

Reminder:  When buying your supplies for September, your back pack and book bags must fit into lockers. They may not sit on the floor by your locker or be left in the classrooms.

Math: 3 subject spiral notebooks without perforated pages (used for vocabulary and class notes), loose leaf paper (used for homework), 1 pocket folder, pencils and erasers.
Science: pen or pencil, 1 subject spiral notebook, 1 pocket folder, colored pencils
Social Studies: pocket folder, pencils, loose leaf paper, colored pencils and highlighters
Spanish: 3 ring binder, loose leaf paper (no spirals), 4 dividers, pens or pencils, erasers, Spanish-English dictionary (optional)
Language Arts: loose leaf paper, 1 pocket folder, blue or black pens
